Typing a barcode while the scanner is connected
Every CryoIndex barcode workflow retains a manual-entry path for frosted, damaged or unlabeled vials.
- Choose the type-it option on the barcode screen if the camera view is open.
- Tap the barcode field so it has focus.
- Type the value printed beneath the barcode and continue normally.
- If frost or damage makes the printed value unreadable, keep or return the vial to the cold-handling conditions required by the lab’s cryogenic SOP and use the lab’s validated identification process.
